It was a busy morning in Skowhegan Tuesday as deputies with the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office wrapped up a months-long drug trafficking investigation with two major raids.

According to WGME 13, around 5 a.m., officers searched a home on Cedar Street as well as an apartment at 23 Waterville Road. Deputies say they seized fentanyl, crack cocaine, cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and even a loaded gun during the busts.

In total, nine people were arrested and taken to the Somerset County Jail. Several are facing felony drug trafficking charges, while others were booked for possession or violating bail conditions.

Here’s the breakdown according to WGME 13,

  • Gina Clark, 54, Skowhegan – 2 counts aggravated trafficking. Bail: $50,000 cash.

  • Danielle Stratton, 40, Belgrade – 2 counts aggravated trafficking. Bail: $100,000 cash.

  • Emmitt Kitchen, 32, Skowhegan – 2 counts aggravated trafficking. Bail: $100,000 cash.

  • Chauntel Ludden, 33, Skowhegan – Possession and aggravated trafficking (fentanyl). Bail: $50,000 cash.

  • Michaela Higgins, 28, Madison – Violation of conditions of release. No bail.

  • Tori Pinkham, 31, Bingham – Violation of conditions of release. No bail.

  • Randell Woods, 40, Madison – Violation of conditions of release. No bail.

  • Jacob Day, 30, Skowhegan – Possession with priors. Bail: $2,500 cash.

  • Aaron Butters, 37, Skowhegan – Possession with priors. Bail: $2,500 cash.

Deputies say the investigation is still ongoing, and additional charges may be coming.

It's important to note that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
