It's true, you guys. I'm literally a legend among the world's greatest ever to play the age-old sport of disc golf. Okay, so maybe it's not that I'm that good, but that my friends are that bad?

On Saturday morning, my buddies Jeremy, Johnny, Josh and I all headed out for a guy's day. Our first stop (obviously) was at Lisa's Restaurant for some good grub and pre-game drinks.

Next we were off to the course! We headed off to Augusta Golf Park 'Quarry Run' for an afternoon of chucking disks wicked hard at chained baskets. Mind you, none of us have ever really played before. And that was pretty clear right around hole number one. Our discs were going every which way except the direction we wanted them to. I mean, we didn't even have our own discs. Nope, had to get rentals.

After the first 4 or 5 holes we started to get the hang of things a little bit. Emphasis on started to. I fell down at least once, Josh fell down at least once and Johnny ended up deep in some muddy ravine looking for a disc. Yeah, it was that kind of an afternoon.

After we wrapped up all 18 holes it was time to head back to the clubhouse, return our disks and have a 'soda' at the truck while we tallied up the scored. Much to my incredible shock, and assuming that Jeremy's math was correct, I came in first place with an 83. A garbage score by any professional standards, but a low enough score to beat the 3 stooges I was playing against.

Now my loving friends may try and dispute this by telling you that I under-reported some of the shots I took, but that's straight-up hogwash. Who says hogwash? What am I, 78? Anyway, don't think for a second that I'll ever let the boys live down the fact that a useless piece of unathletic garbage like me beat them at disc golf.
