According to WMTW News 8, the body of a man who was reported missing on Tuesday night has been found.

The Maine Warden Service says that a boater had gone missing on Tuesday night in the small Maine town of Roxbury.

Wardens began to look for the boater on Tuesday night after it was determined he had apparently fallen from his boat on Ellis Pond. Wardens say the man had been fishing alone and that there were no witnesses around.

On Wednesday morning at about 8:25, Maine wardens were able to locate the man's body and retrieve it from the pond.

Representatives of the Maine Warden Service told WMTW that they expect to have more information, possible including the boater's identity, later in the day on Wednesday.

As this is a developing story we will continue to keep it updated as more information becomes available to us.
