a 12 year old Maine boy is in the hospital following a hunting accident that occurred over the weekend.

They were able to locate his tracks on Moosehead Lake and follow them back near the mouth of the Moose River, a spot infamous for its unstable and often thin ice.

Police said the girl made a concerning Facebook post Wednesday afternoon that included suicidal thoughts.

Dover Foxcroft police are seeking the public's help in locating 12 year old Joseph Bury.

The Maine Warden Service says game wardens today, Aug. 24, recovered the body of Peter Wesley Townsend, 66, from Messalonskee Lake.

UPDATE: Erica Lachance of Fairfield has been found safe. No other details are being released at this time.

The Maine Warden Service is searching for 29-year-old Erica LaChance of Fairfield in the area around Moxie Falls.

The search continues today for missing teen Jaden Dremsa. The 15-year old was last seen Thursday (May 8) afternoon near his family’s home in the Twin Pines Trailer Park in North Waterboro.
