Exciting news for fans of Mixers Nightclub in Sabattus, Maine!
After much anticipation the popular local hotspot for dancing, music, and delicious drinks has officially changed hands.
Mixers has been a central party hub for the Lewiston/Auburn community, bringing people together for nights to remember. Now, after almost a decade under Bob and his partner’s watchful eye, the club is set for a fresh start.
Last year, I wrote an article covering the new owners then, and now they are ready to pass it on. Read: Sabattus Maine's Popular Nightclub Announces New Ownership
In a recent Facebook post, the former owners shared the news that Mixers is now in the hands of new owners, Hank and Riza.
Saying in part,
The day has finally come that Mixers gets a new owner. Yes, I know we posted a few times before with people who have backed out. But we got smart and waited to the ink was dry on the paperwork to post this one. Today, we signed the papers giving our baby over to new owners. Bob and I would like to thank you for the past 450 some odd weekends of amazing support and fun that you all have given us. We will cherish all the memories and moments that have filled up our space for the last 9 years.
Hank and Riza are ready to carry on the club’s legacy. Although Mixers will be closed briefly as the new team finalizes licensing saying,
"They do need a few weeks to get the licenses done but will be back up and running very soon with a lot of the same faces. So watch the page to see when the Grand Reopen will be."
