New York Man Pleads Guilty to Drug Trafficking in Gardiner
As the state of Maine continues to battle the ever-present drug trafficking and addiction epidemic here in the state, another offender will be headed behind bars. According to the KJ 33 year old Michael Nelson pleaded guilty to trafficking drugs after authorities seized 120 grams of heroin and 220 grams of cocaine in 2018 from an apartment where Nelson was staying. Nelson is the second New York man to go to court in this particular case.
Others that were arrested during that same drug bust include 28 year old Jahneiro Plummer of New York and 44 year old Clifford Sousa of Gardiner. Plummer was found guilty of aggravated trafficking in heroin and cocaine and Sousa pleaded guilty to unlawful trafficking in cocaine and heroin.
