NH School District May Hire Collection Agency For Lunch Debts

According to WGME, schools in Claremont NH are considering hiring a debt collection agency to collect lunch debts.

Think they're overreacting?  This may change your mind...  The debts total about $32,000!  Definitely, a significant amount of money!

The district will forgive those who owe less than $20 and will not deny any student lunch.

Honestly, now would be a great time for a philanthropist or a charitable foundation to step-up!
