I was reading today at centralmaine.com that there is an expected 6% increase for natural gas and 7% for electricity...but because of the prices being down around the world for the prices for oil that comes to our oil tank should be a wee bit more manageable.

In the northeast, our homes use oil more often than other areas of the United States to heat with oil.  So oil prices are a big deal for us.

If you have done it already...check the tank of whatever heats your home or your woodpile. When I was a homeowner, it was always oil. It is the most common heat source for our Maine homes. If you don't have an oil company you always do business with or want to check out the prices, then you need MaineOil.com.

It is not the sexiest of websites but super helpful.
