Photo Gallery: The James Family Christmas Tree is Up!

It's an annual tradition for us just like it is for thousands of families all around Maine. We pile into the car and head out in search of the perfect Christmas tree. And of course, you're not successful in your search unless you bring one home that is way too tall and needs to be trimmed (literally) on the living room floor. Mission accomplished.

For the second year in a row we drive over to Ben & Molly's Christmas Tree Farm at 424 Hanson Road in South China. They are a wonderful choose and cut operation and have the most beautiful trees! When you arrive then hand you a saw, a tarp for dragging your tree back and directions on to where the year's readiest trees are. Then the indecisiveness begins. Everyone tends to find a tree that they really like, so we end up with about 4-5 different ones that we need to whittle it down from.

After making our selection, dragging it back and loading it in the truck, it's time to enjoy the delightful (and included!) hot chocolate and molasses cookies baked by Molly herself. It really is a great place to spend a couple hours with your family. Now, it's on the photos- check this bad Larry out!
