That’s exactly what these brave individuals are going to do at the very first 2025 Super Plunge to raise funds for Special Olympics Maine!
I was lucky enough to talk to my girl, Ashley Wade about this exciting event!
Ashley is the Chief Deputy in Ogunquit and a vital part of this event. She told me the event is taking place from March 29-30 at the Norseman Resort in Ogunquit, Maine.
And it’s not just about the cold, it’s about pushing your limits and supporting a cause that is so near and dear to all of us here in the state of Maine.
Let’s talk about Special Olympics Maine
According to their Facebook page,
Special Olympics Maine provides year-round sports training and competitions for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We support over 5,000 athletes and host 90+ events each year at local, state, national, and international levels.
These beautifully spirited athletes inspire us all each day with there dedication and now these plungers are jumping to do the same for them!
The passion and perseverance shows us all that sports transcends all challenges. They teach us the meaning of "getting back up."
If you think you have what it takes to plunge or maybe would just like to cheer everyone on? You can donate!
Every single jump brings us closer to a world where every person, no matter what their ability is, gets a chances to shine.
