The ‘Day of Remembrance Blood Drive’ in Augusta, Today, Sept. 11

Join 92 Moose and give the gift of life during the 'Day of Remembrance Blood Drive' today with the Red Cross, Sept.11 at the Augusta Civic Center, 76 Community Drive. The The 9th annual drive will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in an effort to collect nearly 300 pints of blood.

All presenting donors will receive a long sleeve Red Cross t-shirt. There will be hot dogs and special canteen treats including Sea Dog biscuit ice cream sandwiches. All presenting donors will have a chance to win one of five $50 Visa gift cards to be raffled off courtesy of Kennebec Savings Bank.

Do your part to help replenish our community blood supply. Donors need to be at least 17 (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, and not have donated in the last 56 days. There is no upper age limit.
