TLC is Looking to Raise $150K to Produce 5th and Final Album

TLC, the all female group that started out as a trio consisting of T-Boz, Left Eye and Chili is looking to record their 5th and as they say their final album without Lopes through Kickstarter.

I had to look up to see what Kickstarter was;for those who don't know it is crowd-funding or fundraising for a commercial project through fans making reasonable sized donations. Now, back to TLC, as many know, Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes died back in the early 2000s so it's just, T-Boz and Chili, with special guests filling in in the 'Left Eye' role when needed. I can't find whether they're are replacing Lisa Lopes or not for the album, but no mention of it in the article here.

Why the fundraising? TLC says, so we can have complete control over the album with it's sounds and lyrically and so the fans can be a part of creating it. TLC is looking to raise, $150,000 to make the final product which is due out in May.
