Tuesday Storm Looks to Keep Most of the Mess to Our South
Maybe you're like me and the older you get, the less snow you really want to see each winter. Well, how about this next little system that's making it's way into Maine over the next 24 hours? If you like snow, you'll actually want to travel SOUTH!
According to News Center Maine, light snow will begin in the morning and become more steady for Southern Maine in the afternoon. Central Maine could see some slight travel impacts for the Tuesday evening commute, though we are not expected to see much more than an inch or so of accumulation through the entire day. Lewiston south will see between 2-4 inches total. Parts of south-western Maine may see upwards of 6 inches. By 3:00 AM Wednesday morning most, if not all, of the precipitation will have moved out of the region.
We're no strangers in inclement weather so as always, take it easy, give yourself extra time, and thank the snow gods that Southern Maine gets most of the mess on this go'round.
