Earlier this week 2 cats were dropped off at the Franklin County Animal Shelter on Industry Road in Farmington, zipped inside a duffel bag. The shelter would like to spread the word about the best way to bring in an unwanted animal, especially after last months incident in Lewiston, when a dog died.

According to WGME: "Typically, surrendering an animal comes with a $30 fee, which helps to spay and neuter the animals and covers some of the medical costs, but if the person couldn’t afford it, the shelter says it would have worked with them."



These cats were just left on our porch by a woman wearing a beanie and glasses, and driving a bright red SUV. One cat...
