Looking for something to and get out of the house…Vassalboro Days is coming up on September 12 and 13. There are a lot of things going on, including a yard sale at the Vassalboro Recreation Fields.

As for that yard sale, they are still looking for people who are interested in renting a space! There is a small fee of $10.

You do need to bring your own tent, table or chairs…any of that stuff. They will be taking applications for participation until the day before and it is all first-come, first-serve. Becky Jenkins is the person to contact...207-557-1428 or beckypcjenkins@gmail.com

What else is going on? Lots.

They do ask that you wear a mask to the event.

The Double Dam Ducky Derby (say that that three times fast…it is fun), a scavenger hunt, FOOD… the tastiest Vassalboro Masonic Lodge fried chicken baskets, the Mill Craft/Vendor Sale and Yard Sale at the mill, the very cool sounding Chalk Fest, library book sale, porch pie sale at the Grange Hall (yes please!). The Historical Society will have the museum, blacksmith shop, and harness shop open...AND that is all on Saturday.

Sunday is the Vassalboro Color Me Too Fun Run and, of course, the Rec Committee yard sale I told you about above.

You can get all the details about all the events on both days on Facebook. Here is the rundown of all the details on their Facebook event page.
