Who is Mickie Pascal? I am glad you asked! She is a Maine native from Boothbay Harbor and also a casting director in Chicago.

According to The Boothbay Registry, Mickie recently was facing a bit of a dilemma trying to figure out how to transport her EMMY AWARD on an airplane. So, she called her dad to seek out advice on this, Bob Pascal of Boothbay Harbor, Maine.

This funny yet exciting predicament unfolded after Mickie, along with her other casting directors won a Creative Arts Emmy Award on Jan. 6 for "Outstanding Casting in Comedy Series and Limited or Anthology" for FX's "The Bear."

The way she announced this incredible news to her father is hilarious.

This fresh comedy-drama series is super captivating, not to mention it features the heartthrob of the season, Jeremy Allen White. Did you see the Calvin Klein underwear campaign he did? I digress..

This year's Emmy Awards happened in January due to the Writers Guild strike . The Creative Arts Emmy recognizes excellence in various television genres, including animated, reality, and variety series. And now the state of Maine recognizes that we have an official Emmy Award winning native!

The show Mickie worked on, The Bear, premiered on June 23, 2022 and followed the journey of a popular and award winning chef managing and transforming a chaotic kitchen at his late brother's sandwich shop in Chicago, according to Hulu.

According to the article, the supporting cast includes Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colon-Zayas, Abby Elliott, and Matty Matheson.

Congratulations to Mickie for all of her hard work on this series and we can't wait to see what other huge awards she'll need help transporting in the future.
