$100,000 Donated To Waterville Park Project

According to WABI TV, the Mitchell family donated $100,000  to the RiverWalk at Head of Falls park project.

As a thanks for the donation from the family, which includes former Senator George Mitchell, the park will be named in honor of his parents, George and Mary Mitchell, as well as siblings Paul Mitchell and Robert Mitchell.

So far, $900,000 of the needed $1.5 million has been raised.
