According to the KJ, the court suspended all but one year of the sentence for the 56-year old Augusta man. Bilodeau was convicted of manslaughter following a 2017 incident where he drove his car into a pedestrian on Northern Ave in Augusta. Emile Morin, 81, was crossing the street following a supper at St Augustine's Church on Sand Hill. That's when Bilodeau struck and killed him.

The defense team doesn't believe Bilodeau should be sentenced to prison for his crimes and is planning to appeal the sentence.
