Augusta Police & Fire Put on Impromptu Parade for Birthday Boy

We often talk on the Moose Morning Show about how amazing our local police and fire departments here in Augusta are. And we mean it.

Over the weekend, our selfless heroes from the Augusta fir and police departments made one young man's birthday celebration just a little bit more awesome.

Because of social distancing guidelines and gathering limitations, Jack wasn't able to have the birthday party he had hoped for. So instead, he got a freakin' private parade from some of Augusta's finest!

I think I speak for everyone when I say thank you to our local departments here in Augusta. Not only are you working overtime to ensure the safety of our communities in these crazy times, you're going above and beyond to bring fire trucks and police cars on fun random parades for Central Maine kiddos- thank you!
