Sometimes we have memories pop up and we can't believe the amount of time that has passed by since they occurred. This video right here is a prime example! It was one year ago today (4-23) that my buddy Joey and I launched his fishing boat in Long Pond. I had one job... hold the line so the boat doesn't float away. Oopsies.

To my defense, it wasn't really all my fault. You see, when I was tasked with holding onto the line, you would think that perhaps the other end of the line would be tied to the boat... well that wasn't the case in this particular circumstance. What happened is that the other end of the line was a hook (it was a ratchet strap), and the hook end fell off the loop on the front of the boat as soon as it floated off the trailer. What happened next? Well, the boat floated away obviously.

Video of the original incident from 2017 is below as my friend Joey bravely swims after his boat. Also below is an audio clip of Renee and I reminiscing about this event from years ago.. enjoy!
