There are so many amazing comedians touring the circuit right now. My favorites? Tig Notaro, Fortune Feimster, Mae Martin, Zach Galifianakis, and many more.

Comedians do something to your soul. They give you a chance to forget the hardships of life and make fun of literally everything around you. It's an escape in the form of laughter. What's better than that? Nothing, in my opinion.

It can sometimes be hard to find a good spot to watch a comedy set in Maine. But I am going to make it easy for you.

If you haven't heard of it yet, for the next month, Ian Stuart of "Ian Comedy" is hosting a competition that will break your funny bone.

It's called, "New England's Funniest Comedian."

I am thrilled to be a judge this Thursday, August 15, for their next round of the competition! The event is brought to you by, AuraWaterfront Concerts, and Live Nation Concerts!

Every Thursday for the next month, comedians will take the stage to compete for your laughs.

The shows kicked off on June 30 and will continue every Thursday on August 15, 22, and 29. The buzz is growing fast since last week's start, and I can't wait to watch, judge, and laugh!

Wondering where it's happening? I'll tell ya! Aura Nightclub at 121 Center Street in Portland is the spot. Just a heads-up, this is a 21+ event!
