We all have dreams. We spend our lives working to make those dreams come true. Some have even made bucket lists to reach their aspirations. However, some have been forced to complete their lists sooner. This is the case for William, and his time is running out. He is 12 years old and lives in Central Maine. At the end of the article is an incredible photo gallery that captures William's bucket list journey thus far.

Has been diagnosed with spastic and bilateral schizenphaly. This means, he is unable to ambulate on his own and depends on a wheelchair. William requires multiple forms of equipment to support his challenging medical needs

Sadly, he was hospitalized in late December due to Chronic Respiratory Failure and after he recovered from this, he was sent home for palliative, hospice level care. So now, William’s family is focusing heavily on his quality of life and providing as many opportunities for the family to experience memories together.

Here is the Go-Fund Me link that has been created to assist William with all of his financial needs.

William’s family created a bucket list of things they would like to do with William before he passes which include; going to the Harlem Globetrotters, a Boston Red Sox game, Boston Aquarium & Museum and the Franklin Zoo in Boston.

The family is living paycheck to pay check and is unable to make everything happen on their own. Mom, Dad, are working tirelessly to provide for Williams needs as well as their 4 other children.

The family is grateful for any support given to them.

I was made aware of this by a local content creator & activist named Lauren Kennedy.  Lauren is selfless and wants to be the kind of person that helps others, for the simple reason that it is the right thing to do. She learned about the family through social media and immediately knew she had to help, so she made some calls and was quickly met with others wanting to help as well.

Lauren and the family have done a great job with making most of this small bucket list come true, but they still need help. They have yet to get to the Franklin Zoo in Boston.

If you'd like to help or have any connections to the Franklin Zoo, let's make this happen for young William. The ugly truth is that, tomorrow is not guaranteed. Live hard, love harder, and make your mark on this world. We support you William.

Please enjoy the gallery below of William enjoying what he's been able to accomplish on his bucket list thus far!
