Car Slides Into Downtown Augusta Restaurant

While the City of Augusta and State of Maine road crews do an amazing job keeping the roads plowed and sanded, as the snow begins to fall in Central Maine, there are some slick spots.

This was proven by the driver who, earlier this evening (December 30th) slid down Winthrop Street hill, across Water Street, and into Otto's On The River.

Fortunately, based on their Facebook post, it sounds like everyone is okay and there was no serious damage to the building.
