Lewiston, Maine, Restaurant Claps Back at Unruly Customer Online
In a story that is currently making waves through Lewiston, Maine, we find ourselves rooting for one particular restaurant that was under fire online by a patron.
This unruly customer who left Chick-a-Dee also left a bitter taste both in person and online berating the restaurant for the wait and the food. He specifically went after the chef as well.
Saying in part, “You obviously don’t know what you’re doing (explicative) I hope I don’t see you on the street!”
The man was allegedly frustrated by a longer wait time at the restaurant. The Chick-a-dee reported online that he left without paying and caused a commotion at the host stand.

Then, to make matters worse, he took to social media to vent his feelings and frustration, leaving a nasty comment on Chick-A-Dee's page.
Instead of handling the situation quietly and hiding or deleting the comment, the Chick-A-Dee decided to respond with a fiery clapback that left people talking and applauding.

It's not often you see businesses responding to online hate or threats, let alone clapping back at bullies, but this one did, and it struck a chord with people.
