You've probably heard that people often select dogs that look like them. One of my favorite photos is from on of my best friends wedding reception. I took a selfie with their dog Buddy and it looked like were had the same facial expression and matching ties.

According to a study from the University of California at San Diego, there could be scientific truth to this.

Michael Roy, who conducted the study, was one of the first psychologists to put the idea to the test. He went to three dog parks and photographed the dogs and the owners separately, and then asked a group of participants to try to match them up.

Despite no additional cues, he found that they were able to work out who lived with whom with reasonable accuracy.

Let's see you photos of you and your dogs.
