Most Mainers are waking up this morning to a ton of trees down, damage, and still no power.

I personally didn't realize that this storm was going to bring so much havoc, but it did.

Folks online are calling it the "Grinch Storm of 2023." December 19 will go down in history as the day when practically everything blew away, from fallen wires and trees to entire roads being swept away.

This storm is undoubtedly one for the books. As of this morning, CMP is reporting that over 300,000 people are still without power.

Local photographer Dave Dostie ventured out into the wind storm yesterday to capture what was happening, and his photos are very telling.

Take a look at this scaffolding above from the Cross Building in Augusta, being blown down purely by the windy gusts, according to WGME.

Thankfully, no one was injured at the Cross Building.

Below is a gallery of photos taken during yesterday's unforgettable wind storm in Maine.
