Former Augusta Police Officer Passes Away

According to their Facebook page, the Augusta Police have lost one of their own.

Chaplain and part-time Augusta Police Department officer Donald Williams has passed away at Graybirch Nursing Home following a long illness.

According to the post, "He was a regular at MCJA graduations giving spiritual advice to many and assisting all. He served as chaplain for many other area agencies and was a real asset to us and them. "
