What do you do after you open presents on Christmas morning?  Hit the slopes!  Check out this list of ski and tubing areas open over Christmas Vacation.  Some of them are even open on Christmas Day!

Sunday River - Located in Newry, the mountain has fun all Christmas week long!  In addition to being open on Christmas Day, they've apres ski entertainment, fireworks, and New Years' Eve fun.  But, then again, I don't think we'd expect anything less from a ski area that features hundreds of skiing Santas!

Lost Valley - This Auburn ski area is a short drive from anywhere in Central Maine.  They open for the season on Friday (December 15th) and they'll be open daily (including Christmas) starting December 22nd.

Sugarloaf - In Carrabassett Valley, less than a two hour drive from most of Central Maine. The Loaf will be open on Christmas Day and throughout Christmas vacation week.  Like Sunday River, the resort will have entertainment and events all week.

Camden Snow Bowl - They open just before Christmas.  They'll be open Christmas Eve, but closed Christmas Day.  They'll be open all week and open both New Years Eve and New Years Day.  In addition to the alpine trails, they offer a terrain park, nordic skiing, snow bikes, and more.

Go Tubing - Located on Alder Park Road in South China, they feature tubing, skating, and more.

Quarry Road Trails - If screaming down a black diamond trail isn't your thing, you can relax and enjoy nature at Waterville's Quarry Road Trails.  They have miles and miles of trails for nordic skiing and snowshoeing.

With all of these attractions, please call ahead to confirm hours and scheduled events.  Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
