If you know me, you know that I am a huge Star Wars fan.

Ever since I saw the first Star Wars movie on the Disney Channel back in the 1990s, I was hooked.  I have seen all of the movies, most of the shows, watched hours of YouTube videos about Star Wars, and played most of the video games.  Showing my really nerdy side, I have even played the strategy board games and role-playing games.

But, even after spending thousands of hours of my life on Star Wars, nothing prepared me for this!

The Empire Strips Back: A Burlesque Comedy!

What is The Empire Strips Back?

Apparently, there is a traveling Star Wars-themed burlesque show.

Yes, that kind of burlesque show!  The kind with seductive dances and a little more skin than you'd see at a normal song and dance show.

Based on a video I saw, the show features scandily-clad stormtroopers, a dance routine by Admiral Ackbar, and songs sung by Lando.

The website describes the show as:

Let us deliver you to the dark side! With comedy and allure, loving detail, and hilarious parody, The Empire Strips Back drops classic characters into the world of burlesque. Be prepared for some seriously sultry Stormtroopers, a dangerously enticing Boba Fett, some tantalizing Twi'leks, a delightfully luke-warm Taun Taun, a lady-like Skywalker, the Droids you are looking for, and much, much more!

This video gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect:

Catch the show at the Huntington Theater on Tremont Street in Boston.  The show will run for a total of 9 days between April 22nd and May 2nd.

It looks like tickets start at about $50.
