According to WMTW the town of Lisbon is getting their brand new fire truck painted Moxie orange in honor of the town's annual Moxie Festival.

Officials say this ends a multi-decade feud between the town's two substations. Back in the 70s the town decided to purchase a new lime green truck instead of the traditional fire truck red color. So for years, the town has had multiple colored trucks.

Finally, when the town voted to buy a new $675,000 fire truck, they wanted to pick a color that everyone could agree on, thus, the new Moxie orange fire truck. Fire Chief Nate LeClair says his hope is to eventually have all of the town's trucks be Moxie orange.
