It seems like everyday there is a new list of places to visit. The ten best this, the ten most that, etc. and often Maine is recognized. From CNN here is a list of the '15 Quirkiest US Spots to Visit in 2015, and Maine once again makes the grade.

On the list of 15 Quirkiest places to visit this year is Skowhegan. Yes, we affectionately call the city "Skowvegas," "Skowtown," or "Squeegan" but the reason it's being named a "quirky" place to visit is for an event held in late July which runs for three days, 'The Kneading Conference and Artisan Bread Fair'.

The event this year runs from July 30th to August 1st. The conference is July 30th and 31st and the bread fair itself is on August 1st, plan accordingly.
