Hey all, Matt James here, and by now you're probably aware that there are a few things that are near and dear to my heart. My wife and kids, my Harley Davidson and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Of course there are many other things that are close to my heart, too, but those few are a small example of things that I care a lot about. And, each year, I'm involved in multiple fundraisers that aim to benefit Make-a-Wish Maine.

From the Request-a-Thon that we host on our airwaves to the Wishing Under The Stars Gala hosted by the Brewer Kiwanis, I've been fortunate to be even a small part of supporting and incredible, and super-important, organization.

So naturally, when I learned about an event that involves motorcycles and the Make-A-Wish foundation, I knew I had to help spread the word! Hopefully you can make it, because we have our son's birthday party tomorrow and I probably shouldn't skip it.

According to an article from the MDislander, the Red Knights, Maine Chapter 3, will once again be putting on their annual charity ride for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The ride will happen on Saturday, June 22nd, and will benefit the Maine Chapter of Make-A-Wish.

If you're looking to enjoy a nice ride and support a good cause, registration will open on Saturday morning at 9a at the Red Knights club house on Maine Street in Birch Harbor. The ride will begin promptly at 11a.

The costs to ride are $25 per bike and $5 per passenger. Following the ride, there will be a pot luck dinner at the clubhouse for an additional $10 per person. All proceeds from Saturday's event will be going directly to Make-A-Wish, Maine.

Enjoy and as always, ride safe!
