Let's talk about the moon, shall we? I have always been fascinated with the moon and what it does for this earth and human beings. Maine recently had an outstanding view of the Lunar Eclipse. But what is a lunar eclipse?

According to Wikipedia,

A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon moves into the Earth's Shadow. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are exactly or very closely aligned with Earth between the other two, which can happen only on the night of a full moon when the Moon is near either lunar node.

Have you ever wondered what the spiritual meaning of a lunar eclipse is? A lot of us made sure to charge our crystals on our window sills and set our intentions for the next year. Why do we do this?

According to Explore Deeply,

A lunar eclipse can be an extremely powerful time for cleansing our emotional waters and setting intention for renewal and rejuvenation in the coming months.

So, I made sure to meditate and set my intentions for the coming months. I have always been a firm believer in the power of energy and the moon holds an endless amount of it. Energy is always transferred so whether you believe in this or not, I know you can feel it.

Just by looking at the lunar eclipse gives you a feeling of warmth and peace. Many Mainers looked up to the skies while this was occurring and felt the power of the eclipse. We all took a lot of photos of this beautiful moment in the sky and so did our wonderful photography, Dave Dostie.

Not only did the eclipse on November 8th blow our minds, but the moon on the 7th was also remarkable. Pictured below is the St. Augustine School.

Next time this happens it'll be the year 2025. Until then, you can always charge your crystals and set your intentions under the full moon. Happy energy to you all!
