Common Ground Country Fair Going Virtual for 2020
While it is not a traditional fair in terms of rides and food, it is my favorite fair each year, the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardiner Association’s Common Ground County Fair. They, like every other fair, are faced with what to do for this year because of COVID-19. Well, they are going virtual. So, how will this work? As I read the information on the MOFGO Facebook page and website…honestly…I am not sure. But they have until September 24th to figure it out because the Common Ground Fair runs September 25, 26, and 27. I am excited to see what the come up with for this concept. I have so blown away by how creative people have been putting in-person experiences into online experiences. The only bummer…the food…I love the food at the Common Ground Fair. I guess I will have to make my own corn chowder and hand-pies that weekend.
