Make-A-Wish Maine Makes Young Boys Dreams Come True
Jackson, who is a 5-year-old wonderful boy who loves penguins recently had his dreams come true. Unfortunately, Jackson has Leukemia and has been fighting it for years. Make-A-Wish Maine contacted Jackson and his family and did what they do best, help to make his wishes and dreams come true!
Jackson has always loved penguins and held his stuffed penguins close while he was going through years of treatments. He would rely on his stuffies to get him through the ongoing medical procedures.
When you are younger your spirit and imagination are more lively and your faith is made of genuine magic. So when you have an item that means a lot to you, it can become pure hope. Children are innocent and haven't been fogged by the adversities of life yet and they are able to truly be believers, so those items bring them support and strength.
So when Jackson was told he was going to get the actual chance to be an official Penguin Handler, he was thrilled. As a penguin handler, Jackson will get to help train, feed, and care for the penguins at a South Portland Aquarium in Maine.
According to an article by WMTW, he was given an official uniform and name stage to see and train penguins in person. His parents were overjoyed and full of thanks for their beloved son.
"Make-A-Wish has been nothing but great for Jackson," said his father, Matt Cobreau.
Jackson, we are all rooting for you here and we are all sending you our love buddy!
