When a Facebook Post Goes Viral….WOW!

If you're a fan of the Moose on facebook, we really appreciate it. Thank you! We love being able to interact with listeners in as many different ways as possible. We love to share different things we're talking about on-air and on our website. Sometimes, we might share a funny picture or meme that comes our way. Sometimes, things can get a little controversial, but that's okay, too. As long as everybody keeps it clean, we love hearing different viewpoints.

This, though, is a first for us. We have had several facebook posts go viral, hitting a couple hundred thousand views. We thought that was big.Well, that's nothing compared to what's going on at our page right now. It's actually fascinating to watch what's happening. People from all over the world are interacting and debating back and forth on a picture post we put up Sunday night.

The picture, below, is a simple hand written note, that I discovered in my twitter feed over the weekend. I thought, "Hmmm, I wonder what our listeners will say about this?" The facebook conversation has not stopped. As of this afternoon (April 30) it has been seen over 22 million times, shared over 119,000 times, "liked" over 348,000 times and I can't even measure the comments. Some individuals who commented have over 4,000 replies, just to their comments. (I wonder what they're thinking. Their notifications must be going off every couple of minutes.)

The internet just never ceases to amaze me!
