WATCH: Matt Cuts Lizzy's Hair Live On-Air

Yesterday, I was minding my own business in the studio and Matt James looked over and told me he liked my bangs. It was a very "Napoleon Dynamite-esque" situation.

I said thank you but then made the mistake of telling him I needed them trimmed. He told me he could cut them, so without thinking, I said sure. What could go wrong, right?

Well, being the thirsty DJs that we are, we decided to do the whole thing live on air and on Facebook. And let me tell you, it was a disaster.

I specifically told him not to cut too much, but did he listen? Of course not. He went scissor-happy and ended up chopping way too much off.

And don't even get me started on his technique - I showed him how to angle the scissors, but apparently that went right out the window, down the road, and into the ocean.

All in all, it was a pretty hilarious (and slightly traumatizing) experience. But hey, at least my bangs will grow back...eventually.
