I have run hundreds and hundreds of miles in my life (okay, mostly in my youth) and ran into many different obstacles and problems. Nothing like this, though.

There were too many dog incidences to count out on the roads and courses. I remember one race in high school, getting so bloodied by a tree branch, I was pulled from the race. There was one half-marathon running in 106 degree weather, where I suffered heat exhaustion and had no idea where I was. All of that doesn't compare to the story these runners have now.

The YouTube channel doesn't explain where this race took place, but at a recent cross country meet a herd of deer came running through the pack of runners, even knocking some runners into the air.

What shocked me, is that everybody else just kept on running!
