Can you believe we are on the eve of the third annual Camp Out Hunger? Neither can we.

A community "thank you", a companion site for non-perishables, a sponsor; the "Community Fridge" is going strong.

They named their campaign 1% to F.E.E.D. Kids it stands for Feed, Educate, Empower, Develop. Did you know 1 in 5 Maine kids goes hungry?

Her name is Rite Losee, and she just completed her winter 'hike for health', completing 400 miles of hiking.

One of our biggest missions here at Townsquare Media is making sure people in our surrounding communities always have enough to eat.

It's not always fun and games at Camp Out Hunger... Okay, it kind of is!

Let me just start by saying that I didn't actually burn anything down, but it may have been close.

It was an amazing first day at camp out hunger. Of course the best part of this job is always being able to give back to the community in someway around the holiday season. This year, more than most others, the need for food in our communities has grown immensely...

If you noticed some insane gridlock traffic in Augusta yesterday, you certainly weren't alone. Traffic was at a standstill down Mt Vernon Ave, Townsend Ave, Civic Center Drive, Anthony Ave and even the interstate off ramps at exit 112. But, it wasn't because of a traffic accident or anything like that- no, it was all for a wonderful cause...

Today Scott came in ahead of Camp Out Hunger to talk about the significant increase in food insecurity in our communities and how we can better help them with their mission.

They are transforming their incredible state of the art car wash into a haunted tunnel where families can ride through without ever having to leave their vehicle.
