If you are like me and believe that magic exists, then I have something that is going to Bilbo your Baggins! There is something so wonderful about escaping reality and jumping into different universes and stuff.

If you are into comics, cos-play, dungeons & dragons, Game of Thrones, wands etc and you ask yourself, am I a nerd? You are and it's something to be extremely proud of because nerds rule the universe.

I was able to chat with event promoter, Mike Huard and he is calling nerds to a gathering of Greek epic proportion!

I consider myself a bit a sci-fi and fantasy nerd, to be honest. I am thoroughly intrigued by magical shows and sometimes I even pretend my hairbrush is a wand and get into a "Hermione Granger" situation.

So I am very happy to see that this "nerdom" has spread in our magical state of Maine.

Bringing the community together to experience something that many people are into, is super important.

So apparently, if you are a lover of comics, cos-play, dungeons & dragons, Game of Thrones and wands as well as many others, you are invited to participate at the Olde Mill in Vassalboro for the Maine Sci-fi & Fantasy Nerd Festival!

This is taking place on Sunday, February 6th from 10:00am-5:00pm. It is 5 dollars per ticket and has been described as the Nerd Super Bowl in between the NFL real football weekend off.

Mike is happy to report that this event is like one big geek heaven party!

When you're sharing the love of geekness to your family or friends in your life and they do not understand it can be frustrating so being around like-minded individuals who understand your passion is comforting.

So grab your cape, wand, and magic cards and head to the Maine Sci-fi & Fantasy Nerd Festival!
