I always listen to what the universe is telling me. Almost like when you see a red car a lot and then you buy one.

Anyway, the universe has been bringing me this new fad. It's something that I didn't know I needed, until now. Intermittent fasting ladies and gentlemen. It is currently the one of the worlds most popular weight loss trends and I am jumping on!

Who wouldn't want to lose weight while eating the foods they love (only during a certain period of time?)

Ever since I started working at the radio station, my sleep schedule has changed drastically. I wake up at 2:30am and go to sleep around 7:00pm. Because I can't go to the gym in the morning, I have gained 20 pounds. By the time I am done with the show, productions, events, broadcasting remotes, and interviews, I am tired as hell.

Since I am the ultimate beginner at this program, I had to do my research.

According to Health Line, it can help not only your body but your brain too. I would love my brain to be better. The most common type of this fasting is 16 off food and 8 hours on food. My program is to not eat from 8:00pm to 12:00pm the next day.

Health Line says,

It doesn’t specify which foods you should eat but rather when you should eat them.

In this respect, it’s not a diet in the conventional sense but more accurately described as an eating pattern.

So, it's a pattern that I am happy to try. However, it's going to be very hard for me not to eat after 8pm. I have a kryptonite and it's called chocolate. I will use my will power and strength to not give in.

I am targeting weight loss in my gut and my chest because for some reason why I gain weight, it goes straight to my belly and boobs.

I asked my friends if they had success on this IF journey on Facebook and the reactions were very positive with people saying things like, "I'm down 35 Ibs since I started." and It's already seen me 30 pounds lighter and my asthma is a little better."

Bring on the fasting and pray that it will work for me!
