Here’s What Mainers Were Doing While the Blizzard Raged On
When it snows, it pours. Maybe I got that wrong, but nonetheless, we had a huge blizzard this past weekend bubs. We received up to 2 feet in some areas. The amount of snow drifts that appeared against our Maine homes was massive.
Shoveling was impossible, driving stunk, and if you went outside without a face covering, you bet your bottom dollar that your whiskers would freeze.
So instead of going out, most of us stayed in and enjoyed the warmth of our homes. From baking to watching your animals sleep the weekend proved to be relaxing as hell for many Mainers.
Normally, on a snow day it's nice to feel like you have a break. It's almost like mother nature is forcing us to take a second and refill our self-care cups.
When we're stuck at home, we have no choice but to relax or even get things done that have been on "that list", you know, the one that we add to all the time but never do? Like cleaning out the drawers in the bedroom or finally organizing the fridge?
Snow days, to me, are Gods gift to humans. It jolts us into a moment to breath. To think and to have fun with our families creating unforgettable memories.
Take a peak at what Mainers did while the Blizzard was Raging On!
