It's never easy to say goodbye. Especially when you're saying goodbye to a friend that you have shared so many fond memories with. Yes, I know that writing a farewell post about an inanimate object may seem a little weird to some. However, that Keurig and I have been through some pretty incredible times together.

This wasn't just any Keurig either. The Keurig was one of those fancy models that you walk by in the department store and gawk at but never purchase because you can't justify spending that kind of money on a device that literally just spits out hot water. We were fortunate to have a company willing to spare no expense to buy us the best Keurig that was on the market at the time. We were blessed, oh so blessed. But now? Now we are empty. We are lost.. And we are ridiculously undercaffeinated.

You see, the thing about any coffee maker that calls a radio station its home is that it get used and it gets abused. This particular Keurig here at 92 Moose was used constantly day in and day out. Never getting so much as a moment to rest as it tirelessly brewed cup after cup of hot delicious coffee. It didn't even get a chance to take it easy on the weekends, either. I'm pretty sure Cooper Fox came in every Saturday and Sunday just to make 12 cups of coffee.

And, reflecting back as I am now in this moment, one the hardest things I've ever had to do is write this article at 5:30 AM on a Monday morning. It's not hard because of the emotional torment of losing my friend the Keurig. Sure, that's difficult and all and I'll probably seek professional counseling, but it's incredibly difficult primarily because I haven't had my coffee yet and I'm exhausted.

I guess it's time to get off my fat butt and drive down to Dunkin.. Who am I kidding, Dunkin is way better than any cup brewed by a Keurig anyway. I hope you're up there looking down on us and protecting us old Keurig. Even though I just kind of slammed you with that Dunkin comment. Sorry.
