So if you've been listening to our show, Matt & Lizzy in The Morning, for any stretch of time, you know that Lizzy tends to rope me into trying these ridiculous trends she finds on social media. As a matter of fact, I really should find a way to change her passwords so she can't log in and find these things in the first place.

Last year we did a holiday trend that involved getting a couple of tissue boxes and filling them with jingle bells. Then we had to strap the bell-filled boxes to our rear-ends and literally twerk the bells out. Whoever could twerk all their bells out first would be crowned the winner. Fortunately for my pride, and my big butt, I came out victorious. I wish however that I was able to say the same thing about this year- But I'm not.

This year Lizzy saw a video on TikTok and immediately told me that we needed to try it. This trend involves taking a couple of plastic cups and tying them around the waists of the players. Then, after that, you take a ball-style Christmas ornament and suspend it by a string from the bottom of the cup that you're wearing. You can see where this is going?

After that, the players have to try and swing the ball up (hands free) from the bottom of the cup and land it inside the cup. As you can imagine based on my previous statement, I did not win. As a matter of fact, I argue that Lizzy intentionally gave me a defective ornament because it kept flying off the string. It's either that, or maybe I just gave it a little too much hip power.

You watch the video and judge for yourself!
