We had our very first experience at Hallowell's new Local Scoop ice cream stand. To say that it was a delightful experience would be an incredible understatement.

Because we are creatures of habit, and because it's the unofficial kickoff to summer, we go camping with our friends and family each and every Memorial Day weekend.

I think it's probably fair to say that baby monitors have come a really long way since what our parents had for us in the the 80s and 90s, right? Well, I'm just gonna come out and say that I think they've come a little bit too far. We have a video baby monitor that we have set to switch back and forth between Gavin's room and Dawson's room so we can see each of them all night without having to man

Maybe it's genetics, or maybe it was just luck of the draw (okay, it's genetics), but all of my kids are, in relativity to others their age, short.

It was the best day ever, and not just because my mom made her famous meatballs!

It all happened during the typically chaotic period of time that falls between dinner and bed time in our house. As we were getting the kids in their PJs and cleaning up from another 'taco Monday', Gavin came up the stairs from his toy room holding a 36-piece puzzle of the alphabet...

And what better way to make it than with the two most special ingredients? Freshly handpicked Maine apples and the company of family.

Life, especially now in 2020, can really get away from us sometimes. It gets to the point sometimes where we don't even realize just how much time is slipping through our fingers.

It's a pretty exciting time here at the James' household. My wife Keri is do with our third son on July, 7th.

For those of you that may not know, we are expecting a third addition to the family in just a couple of short weeks. I know, I can barely believe it either.

Turns out it actually went together better using the instructions. Not super manly of me, but that's okay. I'm not friggin' Bob the builder over here. I'm a DJ.

It must be genetic because both of my sons (and probably the 3rd due in July) absolutely love anything with an engine- and I was the same way.

While it was a little colder out than when we did it for Gavin, it was still just as much fun. I mean, who doesn't like making things explode?

We had an absolute blast- all of us! Yes, 16 people total, 8 kids and 8 adults.

She said that you should always heat the bread and THEN put the butter on. I'm shook.

So far Gavin has chucked the baby over the gate and down the stairs, run him over with the crazy coupe car, fallen asleep on his head
